Usage

The input for the scraper should contain the following fields:

  • baseKeywords: An array containing keywords to serve as seeds to generate suggestions and get research data.
  • useGoogle: Toggle to enable suggestions from Google Suggest (default: true).
  • useBing: Toggle to enable suggestions from Bing Autosuggest (default: true).
  • useYahoo: Toggle to enable suggestions from Yahoo Search Predictions (default: true).
  • useDuckDuckGo: Toggle to enable suggestions from DuckDuckGo Autocomplete (default: true).
  • useEcosia: Toggle to enable suggestions from Ecosia Autocomplete (default: true).

Output

The output includes the following fields for each keyword:

  • keyword: the keyword itself.
  • searchVolumeMonthlyAvg: the number of searches this particular keyword has during a month.
  • seoDifficulty: the estimated competition in organic search, the higher the number the more competitive.
  • paidDifficulty: the estimated competition in paid search, the higher the number the more competitive.
  • cpc: the average cost per click if you wanted to pay Google to be seen as an ad. If someone is paying a high CPC, the keyword is usually more valuable.
